Integrated Photonics

Photonic integrated circuits provide a scalable hardware platform for AI computing with light (Nanophotonics 14, 1429 (2025)).
I design and experimentally demonstrate photonic circuits, while developing theoretical frameworks for implementing all-optical neural networks.
Disordered Photonics

Engineered disorder offers new ways to control light in complex photonic media. My research focuses on scalable models and design methods for these systems, including hypergraph models of wave scattering.
Our recent work extends hyperuniformity and stealthiness to non-Hermitian materials, revealing how correlations between gain and loss enable directional control of scattering.
